Job description
Vertical Scope Group are recruiting a PV Cleared Service Desk Analyst for an Australian intelligence agency on a 12 month contract commencing in February 2021.
This employer is highly respected by government and is looking for a Service Desk Analyst who can resolve IT issues, action requests and provide service advice while keeping customers updated with the progress of their actions. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a team environment across a diverse range of customers. This job is in a fast passed environment requiring the successful individual to collaborate extensively with internal and external stakeholders and problem solve.
Essential criteria
Australian Government PV Security Clearance
Experience handling incoming enquiries and customer reports
Experience documenting issues, prioritising them, providing alternative solutions and identifying steps to resolve problems
Ability to consult with external support staff to troubleshoot issues while providing regular updates to customers
Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience with service frameworks like ITIL
Strong technical knowledge of Windows and Office products
Experience with Active Directory objects
Excellent customer service skills
Previous experience in a national security environment
