Advisory Board

The Cyber Civilian Reserve Advisory Board held its inaugural meeting, marking yet another important milestone in the establishment of the Cyber Civilian Reserve. The CCR was established on Australia Day 2026, reflecting its whole-of-nation purpose at a time when Australia is operating in an increasingly uncertain and hostile cyber environment and resilience has become a national security imperative.

During the meeting, the Advisory Board discussed the foundational work plan for 2026 and the strategic priorities for the CCR. Early discussions focused on refining the problem statement, clarifying strategic aims, exploring ways of delivery, and identifying the importance of key partnerships to ensure the initiative complements existing government and industry capabilities.
