Join Vertical Scope Group’s (VSG) Professional Services Division as we are seeking a driven, highly skilled and competent Security cleared, Mainframe Support Specialist to join our award-winning team in supporting our Defence and National Intelligence Community customers.

About You:

Must have a security clearance
Can be based in Sydney, NSW.
Interested in a minimum long term contract with possible extension.

About the role:

Expected to have expertise in software maintenance (patching/upgrading software) in a mainframe environment, SMP/E skills (mainframe software management).
24X7 support, shift work and after-hours support required
Operational and technical support to Application support and management.
Master console operation support.\
Problem ticket in-depth analysis, trouble-shooting, problem resolution
Operational monitoring, alerting and tuning
Proactively providing innovative solutions in accordance with modern technologies.
Build and maintain relationships with and advise various levels of stakeholders.
