Opportunity
You will be an integral part of this multidisciplinary engineering team delivering this cutting-edge cybersecurity capability for Federal Government on this critical national infrastructure program.
Working closely with your team members and partners, you will develop and deliver the cyber security solution end-to-end in a highly secure environment whilst liaising closely with the customer to ensure their mission is supported and reached.
You will provide end to end cybersecurity architectural design and be integral in making decisions that will impact and shape the strategy of the program. Working closely with the engineering team and customer, you will build relationships and influence with style whilst developing and delivering the security solution.
An excellent salary package and benefits are available to the successful candidate up to $220,000 commensurate to experience.
You have:
NV2 security clearance ideally, NV1 also considered
3+ years experience in a security architect role ideally within defence or government setting working on classified or hardened networks
Solid understanding and application of the Information Security Manual (ISM) Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF)
Experience with a broad range of technologies including
Cisco routers and switches
Firewalls
Proxies
Endpoint security software
NIPS/HIPS products
SIEM products
You will:
be customer centric first and foremost
be able to work in complex network environments;
be willing to work within a team and add to the culture and team dynamic, be willing to guide and offer advice and have others review and have input into your designs
be pragmatic and agile possessing the ability to appropriately size and scale architectures based on user needs
be willing and able to work with delivery teams to assist with the deployment including post deployment questions
offer a solution that factor in how the solution will age including factors such as upgrade paths, resiliency, off net / low bandwidth operation and maintenance requirements
stay abreast of the latest security technologies and updates and strive to always add value and offer the best advice and solutions
