Vertical Scope Group is seeking expressions of interest for high calibre Microsoft Azure Engineers to join us ASAP on a long term contract supporting Australian Government departments and organisations.
These roles will challenge and you will be tested by designing, implementing, and documenting Microsoft Azure security solutions to support the compliance, logging, monitoring and auditing requirements for the organisations security and operations.
You will have the opportunity to work with some of Australia’s leading cloud security professionals and will working alongside Enterprise Cloud Architects and other technical leaders to help design compliant security solutions. You will work from design, development through to deployment ensuring the solution exacts assessment and accreditation standards. You will detail collaborative design and the technical implementation and deployment of enterprise Microsoft security components to support the enterprise cloud environment.

You will need:
Minimum Baseline Security Clearance
4+ years working with Security and Technical teams designing and/or implementing enterprise-grade security solutions.
Practical experience designing and implementing Azure technical solutions and other Microsoft Cloud environments like Office365, Dynamics365, SharePoint Online, and/or PowerBI.
Strong experience enabling and operating Azure security services like Azure Security Center, Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Azure Sentinel and/or Azure Network Watcher.
Demonstrable experience enabling advanced security features across Microsoft ecosystem, such as MFA, ATP, PIM, AIP, DLP, AV, Defender, etc.
Solid understanding of Azure Active Directory and proven experience enabling its inbuilt security features.
Ideally you will have experience or understanding/experience of:
IRAP certification requirements and process.
Azure security services such as Azure Sentinel.
Mitre ATT&CK framework solutions.
Protected Microsoft Cloud SaaS, PaaS and/or IaaS deployments.
Ability to understand and develop ARM templates, KQL and PowerShell scripts.
Working within Federal Government ICT environments with a strong background in ICT security - ability to understand the PSPF and ISM governance and use this experience when designing and implementing security solutions.
