Join Vertical Scope Group (VSG) as we are now inviting expressions of interest for Expert, Trusted and Reputable Electricians at all levels of knowledge and experience from Defence Support Services (DSS) Levels 1-5 (Associate, Practitioner, Advanced Practitioner, Expert, Pre-eminent Advisor) to join our submission for a multi-year, Specialist Security Services panel.

 

We want high performing, highly experienced professionals that have backgrounds in Engineering, SCEC, Acoustic, Building and Specialist Security, that can work across the board to implement the next phase of Australia’s innovative solutions for Defence and National Security.

 

Vertical Scope Group are securing for experienced Electricians to join our award-winning Professional Services Division to be included in our submission. If successful, and if you are listed as a named consultant in our submission, VSG will always offer you first choice and opportunity of any work that is released to us.

As an Electrician, you will be designing, installing, adjusting, servicing, repairing, replacing and maintaining the following:

  • code compliance design of electrical services for residential, commercial or industrial buildings including free standing or office spaces,
  • Electrical services, power and lighting systems,
  • Racking out of equipment,
  • Backup power (such as UPS and generators),
  • Emergency power systems
  • Mains power isolation filters,
  • Ancillary services, e.g. carpentry, metal fabrication, joinery, etc

 

Ideally, you will possess required qualifications and experience:

  • Must be suitably qualified electricians or hold other relevant qualifications including a security operative licence (NSW) or the equivalent in other jurisdictions where required.
  • Development, production and delivery of ‘as-built’ documentation consistent with the Commonwealth’s standard documentation, site information manuals and asset information systems.
  • Provide written performance reports as required of electrical systems condition, code compliance and capacity assessment, including review of circuits and switching, and other domestic and international related services.
  • Baseline (min.) – TS PV security clearance desirable.
  • Australian Citizenship is essential.
