Job description
Vertical Scope Group (VSG) is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to work with our end client based in Melbourne. You will be working in a small team upgrading a much-needed application into the modern era for a Federal Government agency.
Scope
Develop, maintain, and debug existing application
Develop, code and document additional modules and interfaces
Lend technical expertise, about architecting and brainstorming solutions to solve unique and complex technical problems, new features and improvements.
Advocate for best practices and enforce the application of Agile SDLC
Participate in code reviews, ensuring that all solutions meet the agreed upon architectural specifications
Provide application support and troubleshooting as required
Skills and expertise required
Strong knowledge of OOP software design principals
Ability to write clean and concise code
MS .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, WCF, Web API
Microsoft SQL Server
HTML5, JavaScript (React + Redux, typescript, webpack), CSS3 and other front-end development technologies
Advanced knowledge of managing source control
Building and managing cloud-based solutions
Ability to work in a mature Scrum environment, committing to and achieving the agreed upon scope of work
Australian citizenship required
